Thomas B. Turner

Project Manager
I knew I wanted to be a Professional Land Surveyor when I realized I could solve problems related to my talents in the Construction field, Mathematics, and relating to people. Also, the draw of working both in the field and office environments.

I joined Gateway in 1985 as a Survey Crew Chief, working full-time as a field surveyor. In 1996, I became a project surveyor, solving problems in both the field and office before achieving the position of Project Manager in 1999 when Gateway launched the Project Management System. In 2009, I was appointed Contractors Market Segment Leader , responsible for business development in that vertical. Today, I serve several functions at Gateway. Many are senior roles related to the selling and executing projects. As for the execution of projects, I perform the PM function and mainly ensure the quality work from the project teams within the clients’ preferred schedule. Our goal is always client satisfaction and budget control through diligent project management.

I enjoy music, being outdoors, traveling, and attempting to perfect my (too) many hobbies which include hiking with my dog, canoeing/kayaking, golf, fishing, hunting, and bicycling.
