James Naret

Project Manager
I knew I wanted to be a Project Manager for Civil Engineering Projects when I realized I enjoyed solving complicated construction and design issues. I also really enjoy working with other professionals to develop solutions in design and construction challenges.

At Gateway, I am Project Manager responsible for selling and executing projects. As a Project Manager, my role includes developing and maintaining client relationships and providing exceptional service to all of my clients. I also work with younger, less experienced staff to share my experience and help them grow within the organization. Previously in my career, I worked for AECOM (Pittsburgh) for approximately 5 years as a Senior Project Manager, from 2012-2017. My experience while at AECOM included Projects for PennDOT (several PennDOT Districts), the PA Turnpike Commission, and The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh as well as a handful of private clients. My primary focus was related to Roadway Design, Drainage Design, Traffic Control Design, Utility Design, and Streetscape Projects, and general Site Civil Design.

In my spare time I enjoy coaching my son’s baseball teams, my daughter’s softball team, playing and listening to music, fishing, and golfing.
