LGA Presents Newly Elected Officials Course

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, January 3, 2012 - Pennsylvania incumbent and newly elected officials, who were sworn into office in January, may now register for the 2011-2012 Newly Elected Officials Course, a comprehensive program for winners of local elections, presented by LGA (Local Government Academy). The Newly Elected Officials Course is held following every local election. It is a one-of-a kind course, unique in Pennsylvania for its scope and content. More than 800 individuals have attended the Newly Elected Officials Course in its 25 years of existence, and the course has been distinguished as a recipient of the League of Women Voters Good Government Award.
