Gateway Announces New Shareholders

Gateway is pleased to announce that ten employees have been appointed to shareholder.  The new shareholders are:
James A. Brethauer, Patrick T. Cooper, Sean M. Donnelly, Kevin P. Hannegan, Jason D. Jesso, Richard D. Minsterman,
W. Scott Rusmisel, Joseph H. Sites, Thomas B. Turner, and Justin C. Wagner.

“Our company has grown and thrived because of the incredible individuals who dedicate themselves to selling and executing
projects successfully,” said CEO Mike Zavoina.

 

The company’s new shareholders include:

James A. Brethauer, P.L.S.
James A. Brethauer currently serves as a project manager and as the assistant director of surveys for The Gateway
Engineers, Inc.  Joining The Gateway Engineers, Inc. in 1985, he has over 20 years of experience leading several
large commercial, industrial and municipal related surveying projects.

Mr. Brethauer is an experienced project manager and is qualified in various aspects of surveying, including preparing
and overseeing subdivision plans, cell tower site development, topographic surveys, field surveying, ALTA/ACSM land
title surveys, and construction stakeout surveys.

 

Patrick T. Cooper, P.E., P.L.S.
Patrick T. Cooper currently serves as a project manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc.  He has been involved in land
surveying and land planning since 1981.

Mr. Cooper has worked on all types of land developments and has been responsible for many miles of roadway and
infrastructure design.  He is involved in every step of the land development process and often serves as the quality
assurance/quality control (QA/QC) manager in large development projects.  His approach to land development maximizes
land use while considering construction costs and feasibility.

Sean M. Donnelly, P.E.
Sean M. Donnelly currently serves as a project manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc.  Joining The Gateway Engineers, Inc.
in April 1998, he brings with him project management experience in the preparation of site plans, site approvals, design
development, zoning analysis, and construction documentation for commercial and residential developments.
 

Mr. Donnelly has extensive construction management experience, with both small and large budget projects, and has designed
numerous stormwater management facilities and erosion control plans.  He also has experience reviewing plans for governmental
agencies and designing public improvement projects.

Kevin P. Hannegan, P.L.S.
Kevin P. Hannegan currently serves as a project manager and as the survey team leader for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. 
Joining the company in 1977, he has worked on numerous landmark projects, formed many strong client relationships, and
established a solid reputation for meeting or exceeding project expectations.

Mr. Hannegan oversees the entire surveying team at Gateway.  He is experienced in ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, subdivision
plans, utility surveys, topography surveys, monitoring projects, commercial building projects, construction stakeout surveys, field,
and boundary work.

Jason D. Jesso, RLA, ASLA
Jason D. Jesso currently serves as a project manager and as the Butler office team leader for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. 
Joining the company in 2000, he is an experienced project manager with a broad array of technical competencies in civil
engineering.

Mr. Jesso works closely with municipalities, developers and architecture firms on land development projects.  He also manages
numerous publicly bid educational facilities projects located throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio.  Mr. Jesso's experience has
translated into a strong foundation for construction documentation and client relations.

Richard D. Minsterman, P.E.

Richard D. Minsterman currently serves as a project manager and as the municipal team leader for The Gateway Engineers. 
Joining The Gateway Engineers, Inc. in 2005, he has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and consulting industry. 
He brings senior project management experience to a wide variety of projects.
 

Mr. Minsterman’s municipal engineering responsibilities include serving as the principal contact for four municipalities and
assisting other principal contacts with sanitary and water system management, storm water management, street and roadway
projects, funding procurement and parks/recreation projects. 

W. Scott Rusmisel, P.E.
W. Scott Rusmisel's currently serves as a project manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc.  Joining the company in February

2000, he routinely splits time managing various design and build projects including residential and commercial developments,

as well as municipal improvements.  He has experience working with governmental regulatory agencies and municipal officials.

Mr. Rusmisel oversees all work performed at the company's Washington, PA office.  He is the municipal representative for
three municipalities in Southwestern PA while being an assistant representative with numerous other municipal clients.

Joseph H. Sites, P.E.
Joseph H. Sites currently serves as project manager and as the inspection team leader for The Gateway Engineers, Inc.  Joining
the company in 1990, he is experienced in the total management of construction projects, from design specification writing
through construction completion.

Mr. Sites also functions as a municipal representative for six municipalities in Southwestern PA.  He manages multiple municipal
clients while also being responsible for directing the company's inspection services.

Thomas B. Turner, P.L.S.
Thomas B. Turner currently serves as both a project manager and the survey field crew manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. 
Joining The Gateway Engineers, Inc. in 1985, he has 28 years of progressive experience in all phases of surveying.

Mr. Turner is involved with every survey project to ensure quality control of field surveys.  He effectively motivates others on all
levels in the achievement of individual and organizational goals.

Justin C. Wagner, P.E.
Justin C. Wagner currently serves as a project manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc.  Joining The Gateway Engineers, Inc.
in 1999, he brings with him several years of commercial land development and municipal engineering experience.   

Mr. Wagner is experienced in stormwater management, erosion control methods, parking lot layout and design, roadway
reconstruction and layout, asphalt and concrete paving, storm and sanitary sewers, as well as general municipal engineering
work.
