100 Seventh Street Apartments The Gateway Engineers, Inc. provided Lincoln Properties and HKS Architects site civil engineering and construction administration services for the over 18-story apartment complex located on 100 Seventh Street in the 2nd Ward of Pittsburgh. Gateway coordinated the project between the Owner, Architect, Contractor, The Cultural Trust, Oxford Development, City of Pittsburgh, PWSA and legal counsel for the seller, and buyer, Lincoln Properties, who critiqued the entire project. The Gateway Engineers, Inc. has been involved in this area for years, having been the surveyor and site engineer for the O'Reilly Theater, Theater Square and the Agnes R. Katz Plaza. All of these sites were part of one property. Gateway performed an ALTA Survey and consolidation plan of the property along with various easement plans and legal descriptions for the transfer of the property. Site engineering included grading, pavement, streetscape, erosion & sedimentation plans, utility plans, stormwater management, Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority tap connection plan approval, as well as a planning module. This was a green project and our Land Development Team was able to procure LEED points for the project.
