O'Reilly Theater Working with Michael Graves Architects, from New York City, The Gateway Engineers, Inc. is proud to have been involved in the site design for a 650-seat downtown theater.

Sitting on the former site of the Lyceum Theater, the O'Reilly is the fourth theater project of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the fifth Cultural District theater. The O'Reilly is the Trust's only newly constructed theater and was created with two purposes:
to create a downtown home for Public Theater and to create additional venues for theater, music and other performances.

Built at a cost of $25 million, the O'Reilly Theater is the only downtown performance venue with a thrust stage, surrounded by the audience on three sides, and features state-of-the-art theater technology.

The Gateway Engineers, Inc. provided site design and preparation plans for the project. Gateway also performed ALTA survey(s), grading, as well as researching, coordinating and implementation of all site utilities.

The Land Development Team also designed the sanitary and storm sewers, along with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority tap connection plans, Planning Module approval, permitting and city streetscape design.
