Matthew E. Bagaley, P.E., Project Manager

Mr. Bagaley currently serves as a Project Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining the company in 1999, his experience has been an asset in engineering design, specification writing, and construction management of a multitude of projects.

 

 

James A. Brethauer, P.L.S., Project Manager
Mr. Brethauer currently serves as a Project Manager and as the Assistant Survey Team Leader for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining The Gateway Engineers, Inc. in 1985 he has over 20 years of experience leading several large commercial, industrial, and municipal related surveying projects.

 

 

Patrick T. Cooper, P.E., P.L.S., Project Manager
Mr. Cooper currently serves as a Project Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. He has been involved in land surveying and land planning since 1981. Mr. Cooper has worked on all types of land developments and has been responsible for many miles of roadway and infrastructure design.

 

 

Sean M. Donnelly, P.E., Project Manager
Mr. Donnelly currently serves as a Project Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining the company in 1998, he possesses a wealth of project management experience in the preparation of site plans, site approvals, design development, zoning analysis, and construction documentation for commercial and residential developments.

 

Paul J. Gaus, P.E., Project Manager
Mr. Gaus currently serves as a Project Manager for the The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining the company in 1970 as a draftsman, he has served in various capacities throughout his career. He is presently the municipal representative for four municipalities where he manages multiple municipal improvement projects from concept to completion.



Kevin P. Hannegan, P.L.S., Survey Team Leader
Mr. Hannegan currently serves as the Survey Team Leader for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining the company in 1977, he has worked on numerous landmark projects, formed many strong client relationships, and oversees the entire Surveying Team for the company.

 


Ryan L. Hayes, Director of Business Development
Mr. Hayes currently serves as the Director of Business Development for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. With a diverse background in corporate management and marketing programs within the A/E/C industry, Hayes directs the company's Business Development System.

 

 

Kimberly R. Kyriakis, Director of Human Resources
Mrs. Kyriakis currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for The Gateway Engineers, Inc.  Joining the company in 2000, she directs the planning, development, implementation and administration of all human resources policies and programs for the company.

 

 

Richard D. Minsterman, P.E., Municipal Team Leader

Mr. Minsterman currently serves as the Municipal Team Leader for The Gateway Engineers, Inc.  With over 20 years of engineering and consulting experience, he oversees the company's Municipal Team while also serving as the municipal engineer for five municipalities and assisting in many others.

 

 

Michael A. Ogin, Project Manager

Mr. Ogin currently serves as a Project Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. He has been involved in land planning and surveying since 1990.  Mr. Ogin routinely works on all aspects of public and private development projects from survey to final plans and permit acquisitions.

 

 

W. Scott Rusmisel, P.E., Project Manager
Mr. Rusmisel currently serves as a Project Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining the company in February 2000, he oversees all work performed at the company's Washington, PA office. He is the municipal representative for several municipalities in Southwestern PA while being heavily involved in private and commercial development.



Joseph H. Sites, P.E., Project Manager
Mr. Sites currently serves as Project Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining the company in 1990, he is experienced in the total management of construction projects and functions as a municipal representative for six municipalities in Southwestern PA.

 

 

Thomas B. Turner, P.L.S., Field Crew Manager
Mr. Turner currently serves as the Field Crew Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Joining the company in 1985, he has amassed over 30 years of progressive experience.  He oversees all the necessary field work involved in a dynamic portfolio of projects.

 

 

Justin C. Wagner, P.E., Project Manager
Mr. Wagner currently serves as a Project Manager for The Gateway Engineers, Inc. He has many years of experience in both public and privatedevelopment markets and is the municipal representative for several cleints throughout southwestern Pennsylvania.

 


Board of Directors

Daniel S. Deiseroth, P.E., Executive Vice President
Daniel S. Deiseroth currently serves as The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Executive Vice President and is a member of the Board of Directors. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in four states

and has been involved in land planning since he joined Gateway in 1985. He also currently serves as the director of the land development team for the company and works on all aspects of commercial and residential land development projects while also overseeing multiple municipal clients.

Mr. Deiseroth is a dynamic and dedicated executive who has assisted in diversifying the company's business sectors through strategic networking and market intelligence. As a member of the board of directors, he contributes to the efficiency of operations and long-term planning. Mr. Deiseroth is a member of various industry related organizations and routinely spends time

mentoring young engineers to help them ri bet each their professional goals.

Jason D. Jesso, PMP, Chief Operating Officer

Jason D. Jesso, PMP, currently serves as The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is a member of the Board of Directors. He received a Certificate of Academic Achievement from the Institute of Entrepreneurial Excellence at the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007.  He received an MBA from Waynesburg College in 2002, and a BS in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University in 1997. 

Mr. Jesso joined The Gateway Engineers, Inc. in 2000 as an experienced project manager with a broad array of technical competencies in civil engineering, landscape architecture and business operations. He was appointed to Director of Operationsin 2009 and COO in January, 2011. He currently leads the Project Support Services Team. He serves on the 2010-2011 Board of Directors for the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association, and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and

Project Management Institute.

William E. Lestitian, Chief Executive Officer/Managing Shareholder,

Rothman Gordon

William E. Lestitian, currently serves as Rothman Gordon’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Managing Shareholder and is a memberof The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Board of Directors. He is the first to hold such a post in Rothman Gordon’s 57 year history.  Prior to his current role, Mr. Lestitian had served on the firm’s Management Committee since 2002.  He received his J.D.,cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1990 and his B.B.A. from The University of Notre Dame in 1984.

Mr. Lestitian is also the head of the Corporate & Business Department of Rothman Gordon. Using his experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Lestitian advises closely-heldand family-owned businesses on capital formation, forms of business organization and related tax implications, mergers &

acquisitions, employment matters, and shareholder disputes. He

is a member of the Allegheny County Bar association and is also

a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Institute of

Certified Public Accountantsand the Association for Corporate Growth.

Ruthann L. Omer, P.E., President

Ruthann L. Omer currently serves as The Gateway Engineers, Inc. President and is a member of the Board of Directors. Amassing over 20 years of municipal engineering experience with a background in the construction and inspection arena, Ms. Omer manages the engineering activities for seven municipalities located in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Ms. Omer is a resourceful and team-oriented executive recognized for her ability to identify, develop and manage new business. As a member of the company's board of directors, she regularly contributes to the creation and implementation of successful business strategies. She is affiliated with over 15 engineering and leadership related organizations throughout Pennsylvania and routinely contributes both her time and money to charitable causes for the region

Michael C. Zavoina, Chief Executive Officer
Michael C. Zavoina currently serves as The Gateway Engineers, Inc. Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Board of Directors. He received an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. Joining The Gateway Engineers, Inc. in 1998 as the director of finance and resources, appointed COO in 2001 and CEO in 2007, Mr. Zavoina has progressively enhanced the company's business model using efficient project operations as the focal point.

Mr. Zavoina has helped transform the company into a strategic project management focused organization. By combining

innovative leadership strategies with proven management tactics, he has implemented an organizational approach to project management. Mr. Zavoina belongs to several leadership and management organizations in the engineering industry and frequently serves as a guest speaker at related conferences.
