The Gateway Engineers, Inc. and its predecessors have a history and tradition of providing civil engineering and surveying services to municipal and private clients dating back to 1882 in southwesten PA. The current firm was originally incorporated in 1954 as M.E. Frye & Associates, Inc., an organization of civil engineers actively engaged in the practice of municipal and sanitary sewer engineering, consulting work and surveying.
In 1963, the firm merged with Braun & Fulton, reorganized, and took the new name of The Gateway Engineers, Inc. As a part of the reorganization, the firm acquired the practice and records of several long established engineering firms. Over the past five years, Gateway has continued to diversify services through strategic acquisitions. Gray-Warnick Engineering, a Butler, Pennsylvania based firm, was acquired by the company in late 2004 and Engineering Mechanics, Inc. (EMI) was acquired in early 2007. .
Emerging as one of the most respected civil engineering firms in the industry today, Gateway provides quality, client-focused services that are "On Call. On Time. On Target."
Gateway's staff of registered professional engineers, surveyors, and landscape architects provide expertise and personal service to every project, large or small.
