The Gateway Engineers, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions at our Pittsburgh office:
Structural Engineer Team Leader
Crew Assistant
Qualified candidates should be experienced in providing support in design and construction document development, generation of site plans, sanitary and storm water design, erosion control design, geotechnical and structural engineering and general calculations, designs and reports on infrastructure-related projects; e.g. storm & sanitary sewers, grants, roads, and storm water management. Residential design experience a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD a must. These opportunities require a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering; E.I.T. or P.E. and 0-5 yrs. exp.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TEAM LEADER
Qualified candidates will be responsible for analyzing, designing and managing the structural team. Candidates should be experienced in structural design related to foundations, walls, small buildings and concrete restoration along with the preparation of bid documents, shop drawing review, and conducting condition assessments of existing structures. Candidates shall also be responsible for preparing and checking structural calculations, scope and budget estimates for projects and mentoring staff. This opportunity requires a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, a P.E. and 10 years exp.
